The Belkin Secure DCU enhances desktop ergonomics by allowing the KVM to be moved off a user’s desk while preserving switching control and security. Fully compatible with Belkin’s 4, 8 and 16-ch secure KVMs with DCU support, the DCU connects to a dedicated port built into the respective KVM and provides channel selection at distances up to 50′ away. The DCU disables functionality from the KVM’s front panel, thus eliminating the potential for erroneous switching. With programmable names and color indicators, the DCU’s customizable interface significantly improves a user’s situational awareness, as well as the overall user experience.
