Cast Iron DN 17 DIN 3489 Twist Claw Coupling G 1” Male

This cast iron DIN 3489 (similar) compressor claw coupling (42mm distance between claws) has G 1 inch male threads. It is very similar to DIN 3489 and is typically connected to a compressor coupling adhering to DIN 3238 for added security from accidental de-coupling. It has threads to connect it to a hose or fitting. It has a DN of 17 mm. Each coupling has two claws at 180 degrees and is typically connected to another claw coupling. To connect, a force pushing them together is required and then the claws are spun to be 45 degrees apart to secure the connection and make a seal. It is suitable up to 10 bar within a temperature range of -40 to 95 °C. It has a brass seal. It has a galvanic/electrolytic zinc plated surface protection.
