This O-ring has a 28 mm internal diameter and a 2.65 mm thick cord.

FKM is a high performance compound and is resistant to many high temperature chemicals. It is suitable for vacuum applications and resistant to oils, grease and fuels.

Pros:

• Good resistance to oils and solvents such as aliphatic, aromatic and halocarbons, acids, animal and vegetable oils
• Suitable for temperatures from -15 to 200°C (5 to 392°F)
• Good mechanical properties, resistant to compression set
• Conforms to DIN 3771, ISO 3601-1, JIS 240 P+G, SMS 1586, BS 1806/AS 568 A, BS 4518

Cons:

• Poor resistance to hot water and steam
• Unsuitable for polar solvents, certain esters and ethers, glycol based brake fluid
