Fire Research Frog-D model FDA100-020 generator display kit shall be installed to monitor a single phase, 50/60 Hz, 20 kW generator. The display case shall be waterproof and have dimensions not to exceed 4-1/4″ high by 4-1/4″ wide by 3-1/4″ deep.
The Frog-D provides a compact way to comply with NFPA requirements for instrumentation on a line voltage power source.(NFPA 1901, 2003 Edition, 23.4.6.3.)
The Frog-D is more than just a display, it also functions as a Warning System. It constantly monitors inputs and provides a visual warning alarm when a value goes out of normal range.
The Frog-D is a display only version of the FROG governor and is for use with PTO driven generators that have built in governing capabilities.
