Nickel-plated Brass DN 7.2 (Euro) Air Coupling Plug 6×8 mm Union Nut Bend-Protect Double Shut-Off

Nickel-plated brass DN 7.2 (Euro) air coupling plug with a union nut for 6×8 mm hoses. It has bend protection. A pneumatic coupling is used to quickly connect air tools to a compressed air line. The coupling requires two parts: the socket (female) and the plug or nipple (male part). When disconnected, the coupling automatically shuts off to maintain the line pressure.

This coupling is suitable for vacuum applications. The plug features a bend protection spring for extra protection. The plug has a double sided shut-off design. When the plug is disconnected, it shuts off flow in both directions. Please note that these plugs only operate with special double sided shut-off sockets! These sockets have an extra pin to open the valve in the plug when connected. The operating pressure range is -0.95 to 35 bar. The plug is suitable for temperatures between -20 to 100°C. The rated flow rate is 800 l/min. The seal material is NBR (nitrile rubber). The Nickel-plated brass housing has a nickel-plated surface protection. This DN 7.2 mm has a Euro profile and is popular within Europe.
