This cap and plug is designed to protect male threads, female threads or pipes against contamination and damage. It is suitable as a cap for G 1-1/4″ and R 1-1/4″ male threads and as a cap for M42 male threads (all pitches). It can also be used as a plug for standard M50 female threads. You can also use it to plug fine M44x1, M45x1.5 and M48x4 female threads. Suitable for temperatures from -30 to 70°C (-22 to 158°F), temporarily max 90°C (194°F).
