This cap and plug is designed to protect male threads, female threads or pipes against contamination and damage. It is suitable as a cap for M36 male threads (all pitches). It can also be a plug for female G 1-1/4″ and Rp 1-1/4″ threads and standard M42 female threads. You can also use it to plug fine M40x1, M40x1.5 and M42x3 female threads. Suitable for temperatures from -30 to 70°C (-22 to 158°F), temporarily max 90°C (194°F).
