Stainless steel DN 6 mold coupling socket with G 1/4 inch male threads. They are typically used for liquid lines to quickly connect and disconnect secure connections.

The G 1/4 inch male threads allow for it to be threaded onto a matching female threaded part. The coupling has a non-return valve to prevent backflow and the push-in socket also closes when disconnected. This is considered a double-sided shut-off design.
