- This unique combination provides the ultimate in high-pressure/slurry sealing.
- The rugged Aramid prevents ePTFE/graphite yarn extrusion. ePTFE/graphite yarn dissipates heat and virtually eliminates shaft scoring when over-tightened.
- Style 1359 delivers built-in extrusion resistance and reduces common installation mistakes during ring placement.
Applications:
- Pumps and valves handling extremely abrasive slurries.
- May also be used as end rings to prevent extrusion.
- Especially effective in paper mill applications such as hydro pulpers, refiners, stock pumps, and digester equipment.
