- Style 1350 is an Interwoven Aramid filament – the strongest braided packing material.
- Impregnated with TFE and saturated with a high-temperature inert lubricant, style 1350 is highly recommended for extreme duty service in water, steam, oils, brines, many solvents, and mild acids and caustics.
Application:
- With exceptionally high tensile strength, style 1350 has proven to be one of the best packings for extreme service applications, such as slurry pumps, hydro pulpers, sludge pumps, and dredge pumps.
- This material is also highly recommended for use in blenders, mixers, and extruders processing rubbers, gums, and abrasives; reciprocating pumps; and in hydraulic pumps and presses with large clearances, high pressures, or poor metal surfaces.
